Macard Wifi extender setup through Mobile App

Learn how to set up Macard Wifi Extender following below quick steps:

Step 1

Place, Plug and Power Macard extender near WiFi router. Click the “On/Off” button over the left side of the extender to switch on the device.Push it upwards to get the device running.

Long press the reset button for around 15-20 seconds to activate the extender and wait for 40-50 seconds for it to restart.

Now, get your smart phone and turn Off its mobile data.

Turn ON WiFi in your phone and search for “Wi-Fi Extender” network name to connect with.

Open a web browser and enter “go. macard. online” to setup the extender. You can also use the Macard Wi-Fi manager app to install the device. In case the interface pops up “Macard wifi extender not working”, then check for the latest app updates.

Fill in the credentials and tap login. (Note: If you don’t have an account or are a new user, first create an account.) It will automatically scan all the nearby networks.

Select the current router's network name that you wish to extend and wait for 30 seconds. "Also, an alert will appears on your phone display" so please do not shut that window.

Now, change the network name (SSID) & password in Wi-Fi settings as per your choice and tap “Save”.

Macard extender setup will restart automatically once the configuration is done. Place the extender midway between your Wi-Fi router and the region having weak internet connection.

Default name of the Macard extender setup is your (Wi-Fi name – Plus), for example: HOME Wi-Fi-Plus. The password stays the same as the current router's password.

Ensure your phone's data is off and Wi-Fi is on, then connect to the “Wi-Fi Extender” network.
